Montessori-style Sunday School for children
The Mitzvah Lab is our Montessori-style Sunday School, where children explore Jewish traditions, values, and stories through hands-on, child-led discovery. Instead of sitting still and memorizing, kids learn by doing — building, creating, questioning, and celebrating.
Our goal is simple: to help children fall in love with Jewish life and grow a strong, joyful Jewish identity that feels truly their own.
Children explore Jewish concepts through tactile, real-world activities — crafts, cooking, nature, music, and play — that make traditions come alive.
We follow each child's curiosity, letting them learn at their own pace and dig deeper into the ideas and stories that spark their imagination.
Older and younger children learn side by side, building friendships, mentorship, and a real sense of kehillah (community).
From tzedakah to chesed, children don't just learn about mitzvot — they practice them, turning Jewish values into everyday habits.
The rhythm of the Jewish year — Shabbat, the High Holidays, Sukkot, Hanukkah, Purim, Passover, and more — through stories, food, and celebration.
The big stories and timeless lessons of our tradition, explored in ways that connect to children's own lives and questions.
A warm, playful introduction to Hebrew letters, blessings, and the songs and prayers that are part of Jewish life.
Jewish learning filled with music, art, and creativity — because joy is at the heart of everything we do.
